Set 1: Welcoming a Brand New Year

New Year is celebrated on January 1st each year. This day marks the beginning of the calendar year. And guess what? It is celebrated all around the world. Various cultural celebrations are organised to welcome the new year. Just before New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve is celebrated, on December 31st. New Year’s Eve is observed by doing countdowns, celebrating through fireworks, organising parties and exchanging gifts with friends. People bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one. The New Year is like a giant reset button! It’s the time when we look back at all the fun times we had and the amazing things we learned. We say goodbye to the old year and wish for newer things in the coming year.

Set 2: Time to Make Wishes and Dreams

The New Year isn’t just a party in our neighborhood; it’s like a worldwide celebration! It’s a chance to make new plans, try new things, and have more adventures.  But most importantly, it’s time to make new resolutions. New Year’s resolutions are like promises we make to ourselves at the start of a brand new year.  We think about the cool things we want to do or change to make the year awesome!  These include learning a new skill, like riding a bike or reading more books. It’s a fun way to think about what you want to achieve and make positive changes in the coming year! You should also make some resolutions for this new year. And then make sure to fulfill them.
